形態特徵

• Perennial erect herbs to 20 cm tall; branches terete, pubescent.
• Leaves opposite, ovate to ovate-oblong, 2–7 cm long, 1–2.5 cm wide, apex acute, base cuneate, slightly oblique, upper surface glabrous to sparsely pubescent, lower surface pubescent, lateral veins 4–7-pairs, distinct; petiole 3–15 mm long; stipules minute, deltate, caducous early.
• Flowers in terminal ebracteate cymes, heterostylous, peduncle 2–10 mm long, pedicel 0.5–2 mm long; bracteoles minute, linear; calyx urceolate, ca. 2 mm long, villose, lobes 5, ovate, ca. 0.5 mm long; corolla tubular, white, 4–6 mm long, glabrous except hairy on throat.
• Fruit obcordate, ca. 2 mm long, 5–7 mm wide, pubescent.

分布

• 台灣 : in shaddy lowland broad-leaved forests in the north.
• 世界 : Japan, southern China, Philippines and Vietnam.
